A day into the woods

Stranded at the crossroads,
life shows no path to follow
Reflection of frequent warning boards,
I decided to walk solo

Waking up to a day filled with fear,
I looked up my car
As I alone had to steer
decided to drive far

Nilgiris' west end is filled with bends
For not less I drove across tribal livelihoods
My inquisitive search never ends,
To alone enter the woods

Sunbeam inflicted right into the skin,
For it demanded the need of shadow
As I drove along species of trees akin
There is so much to nature we owe

I drove back with a sense of peace
As I often cringe on my future,
Trees, mountains, falls, roads started to tease
Thank you, Dear Nature
Thank you, Dear Nature.
