Love, Regret: College days
First sight, she was in a yellow attire
Invoked an immense desire
Never thought consequences would be a
dire
Activity of mine caused self ire
Relationship started calling her a
friend
Wistful, it has become a trend
No empathy that this pairing would
offend
All we thought is we could mend
Forgot who proposed first
Immature to realize love or lust
My confidence was at its best
Yes, what we did was unjust
Angelic she was as she likes to preen
To stand beside her, I was keen
With these emotions were wasted my teen
Reminiscence will and ever be green
To let know people she did hesitate
I had an immense desire to ostentate
Her friends started to hate
A sense of detachment did instigate
To let know people she did hesitate
I had an immense desire to ostentate
Her friends started to hate
A sense of detachment did instigate
We both graduated ‘together’
I tried hard ‘to-get-her’
She decided something better
Decision of her was bitter
What made me so petty?
Why? Was she so pretty?
My foolish acts were so witty
I was often an object of pity
She left me without any reason
I thought it as treason
Possessed immense indignation
Later realized justness of her decision
Now I have absolutely no hate
Feel it is just my fate
Very happy for my collage mate
Of course regretting a bit late
Its a good retrospect...and might have been for Good too...it would have kindled the poet in you and hence these poetries...good luck and you will never regret for what has happened when you were young and your actions are not so justified...good luck again.
