Teachings of a Waterfall

Waterfall:

I come from the gush of the river,
Jostled by the force
People might walk by and shiver,
Finding a way to the source.

I chatter over the vertical drop
Cringing to fall
Neither the pebbles nor the bay side crop
Listens to my call.

I whine in dismay
Squeaking a loud scream
Strangled at the eddying bay
Gushed by the stream.

I fall from unmeasured height
I sulk not on any qualm
Designing an enthralling sight,
I settle quite and calm.

I fall a steep precipice
Sledging the rocks and stones
For life to be fair and wise
Make the trough drain bygones.
