My Companion:
I crouch and touch the sand
Spread my love far and wide the land
As you wave and touch my fingers
A love in recompense that lingers
I gnarl, I hoot, I share, not a monologue
But, a palliative dialogue
Getting on in years slowly
Who better than you would I share my melancholy
I sow the seed,
Quench my need
We both, in a way, feed
Can we call it a good deed?
I am no longer in solitude
With you, I inclined my fortitude
How will I show my gratitude??
Measure my love in altitude.
I return home happy as Larry
Lie down reminiscing today’s story
Prosperity may vary
The reverence I receive, Thanks for the glory.
